You are the most important person in your life.

Feeling good about yourself is really important. You are the most important person in your life. When was the last time you did something really nice for you? It might be just taking a half hour to do something that you would like to. Just having some quiet time for yourself can give you a sense of peace. You may want to set aside a specific time to practice yoga or have that swim that you love so much.

Perhaps it’s just walking the dog and feeling a sense of freedom. We spend so much time caring for others, we sometimes forget to care for ourselves. Self care is really important too. Our concerns for our families are real. They become problematic when we repeatedly run these concerns over and over in our head.

What about doing something for YOU this week?

So, what about doing something for you this week. Have that “ME” time with you! Make a promise to yourself and don’t break it. Spend a little time with you. After all, you are the most important person in your life!
