Spring is in the air
The dark hours and dark skies of winter are lifting. Springtime is in the air.
Little by little the early morning shines more light. It warms your heart to sense the changing season. The evening light stretches later and later as daffodils begin to peep out.You can almost see them dancing with delight and swaying in the air.
Springtime is symbolic of planting seeds, nourishing the soil, weeding back all of winter’s harshness. It is a time of newness – growth – colour and being alive. Springtime can be a great metaphor for life. It can be a time for you to spring into action, take off that heavy winter coat and look to nature for inspiration.
Perhaps think about sowing seeds of personal growth. Set yourself new goals to achieve. Nurture what you really want. Feed the talents and skills you already have, that perhaps have been neglected.
Perhaps it’s now time to deal with those weeds. The weeds of anxiety. The weeds of stress. The weeds of panic. You can work on getting rid of the weeds bit by bit, and free up all that space in your mind. You can begin to sow new ideas. Nurturing, tending to what you really want. Get rid of the old stuff and take a leaf from springtime. Turn those ideas into goals, make them realistic, make them possible, make them fair to your way of being and your values. Let them buzz you up with excitement, energy and fulfilment.
